Serverless Architecture Conference Berlin 2022 Ticket Giveaway
Article 1. General
These regulations apply to the 'Serverless Architecture Conference Berlin 2022 - Ticket Giveaway' contest, hereinafter referred to as the "Contest".
The Contest is organized by November Five BV, with registered address at Scheldestraat 11, 2000 Antwerp, registered with VAT number BE 0820 822 413, hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer".
These regulations relate, among other things, to the conditions for participation in the Contest and the course of the Contest. The mere fact of participating in the Contest implies the full acceptance of all the terms and conditions of these Contest Rules by the entrant.
Article 2. Duration
The Contest starts on September 22, 2022 and ends on October 10, 2022 at 11:59 PM.
The Organizer reserves the right to extend the Contest.
Article 3. Conditions of participation
The Contest is a Contest without any obligation to make a purchase.
All adult (i.e. 18 years and older) natural persons may participate in the Contest, with the exception of the employees and directors of the Organizer and any partners involved in the organization of the Contest (e.g. marketing agency). The same applies to the relatives in the first degree of those persons and the persons residing at the same address as these persons.
An entrant can only enter the Contest once. Participating more than once can lead to the total exclusion of the participant from the Contest.
Article 4. Personal data
The following personal data will be requested from each entrant in order to validly participate in the Contest:
His or her name (first and last name)
Place of residence
The personal data provided will only be used for the purpose of organizing the Contest and will be processed in accordance with the Organizer's Privacy Statement (available at www.n5.co/privacy) and with applicable legislation regarding the protection of personal data. privacy (including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR)).
Only if the participant gives his or her explicit consent to the processing of the personal data for other purposes, the Organizer will be authorized to contact the participant in connection with promotions, offers, information, Contests, etc., depending on the permission given. Entrants may at any time access or request that their personal information be corrected or deleted in the manner set forth in the Organizer's Privacy Statement (see above for link).
The provision of false, incomplete or incorrect data may lead to the exclusion of the data subject from participation.
Article 5. Contest mechanism
Entrants can participate via n5.co/serverlessberlin. The Contest mechanism is as follows:
Participants fill in the entry form, and motivate why they are the best candidate to win the tickets.
In order to participate validly and therefore have a chance of winning the prize, the participant must correctly follow the contest mechanism.
Article 6. Winner selection
Winners will be selected as follows:
Based on the entrants’ motivation, November Five determines the ticket winners.
Winners will be notified by email after the Contest has closed.
If the claiming or redemption of a prize requires an action by the winner within a certain time, he or she forfeits his or her right to the prize and the prize remains the property of the Organizer. The Organizer reserves the right to select a new winner, taking into account the course of the Contest and the winner's designation mechanism.
Article 7. Prize
The prize that can be won in the context of the Contest is:
1 x a duo ticket for Serverless Architecture Conference Berlin on October 17-18 2022, transport and accommodation included
All prizes are personal and are therefore not transferable to third parties. The winner may also not exchange or exchange the prize (e.g. for cash or any other prize).
Article 8. Fraud and abuse
November Five BV supervises the correct course of the Contest.
One or more participants who in any way, together or alone, manipulate or fraudulently increase their chances of winning may be disqualified from participating.
The Organizer also reserves the right to exclude any entrant from the Contest if he or she violates the terms of these Contest Rules or any applicable law. The Organizer cannot be held liable for this.
Article 9. Communication
The winner of a prize grants the Organizer permission to use his or her name and/or image (per photo or video) in the context of any communication or promotion by the Organizer regarding the Contest (including via social media channels).
Article 10. Liability
Participation in the Contest is entirely at the entrant's own risk. The Organizer can therefore in no way be held liable for any direct or indirect damage that may have been incurred by a participant as a result of participation in the Contest and the receipt and/or use of or any defects in a prize.
Moreover, the Organizer can in no way be held responsible for any technical defects, lack of network connection or unsuccessful participation.
Furthermore, the Organizer reserves the right to terminate, modify, postpone, cancel or interrupt the Contest, in whole or in part, for reasons of force majeure, for other reasons beyond the Organizer's control (such as, but not limited to, technical incidents or defects) or if legal reasons in a particular jurisdiction would compel the Company to do so. In that case, the Organizer will not bear any liability and the participants will not owe any compensation.
Article 11. Intellectual property rights
If participation in the Contest requires the entrant to submit content (image, sound, copy,...), the entrant warrants that such entry will not infringe any rights, including but not limited to intellectual property rights and privacy rights, of third parties. The participant thus guarantees to have obtained the permission of the owners of the images or of the persons who could be heard in or seen in the entry. The participant indemnifies the Organizer against claims from third parties in this regard.
The entrant further agrees that his or her entry will become the property of the Organizer. The entrant hereby waives any rights, including but not limited to intellectual property rights (eg copyright), in such material. The entrant grants the right, unlimited in time and space, to the Organizer to modify and use the entry, in any manner whatsoever, without any compensation or new prior consent from the entrant.
Article 12. Contact
A participant can contact the Organizer with questions or comments about the Contest in the following way:

However, the Organizer will not respond to any dispute as to the wording or interpretation of the instructions and/or questions in the context of the Contest.
Article 13. Validity
If one or more provisions of these Contest Rules are declared invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this will not affect the validity of the other provisions of this agreement. The provision in question must then be interpreted and/or replaced by a valid provision with the same purpose and effect or by a similar provision that comes as close as possible to the provision in question.
Article 14. Disputes
The Organizer and the entrant will try to resolve any disputes related to this Contest or the interpretation of these Contest Rules amicably. If they do not reach a solution, the dispute must be submitted to the competent courts of the judicial department where the Organizer has its registered office. They will have exclusive authority to do so.
